Jamie Alimorad is an award-winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actor. A native of New York, Jamie’s love of music started in nursery school. When he was 7 he began piano lessons and singing in his church’s youth choir. Beginning in 5th grade he was evaluated annually by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) for piano, alto saxophone and/or voice, received a perfect score, and was selected as a member of the All-State Chorus in high school. Jamie also served as the drum major for the Harrison High School Marching Band with performances in Lincoln Center (New York, NY), Walt Disney World (Orlando, FL) and the Georgia Dome (Atlanta, GA). He continued his education at Northeastern University, graduating, with honors, with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology.
Professionally, Jamie has a recording career as a solo artist. He has toured the country several times and recently finished an album with Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer Gino Vannelli. Jamie has also performed or recorded with artists such as Rick Springfield and Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater. His first two self-released albums yielded eight #1 in singles across various independent radio and streaming charts, including the song “Beautiful” which has accumulated over 2 million views on YouTube. He has been teaching piano, voice, guitar and drums for seven years for students of all ages and abilities.
