Brian Silverman is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Beginning his career in Boston playing local gigs he later moved to New York City and played in a variety of jazz and rock bands. He is lead/rhythm guitarist, vocalist as well as songwriter.
He led the band Champagne Francis and recorded a cd titled “I Start to Daydream” (available on Itunes and Amazon as well streaming on Spotify.)
In addition to his background playing in rock bands and studying under Gary Hoey for many years he also played jazz for many years studying under well known
teachers such as Bruce Bartlett, Charlie Banacos and Kurt Rosenwinkel.
While living in NYC he played with several highly acclaimed Broadway shows subbing for Billy Joel’s guitar player in Movin’ Out, Hairspray (subbing for Carly Simon’s guitarist and playing with members of Steely Dan) and Jersey Boys.
He currently has multiple performance and songwriting projects in the Los Angeles area.
